The lost wax casting or investment casting is a fusion process, also called investment casting, of almost finished form jets.
The pieces produced with this method need only cleaning and polishing to achieve the required tolerance requirements.
The shape obtained can be geometrically also very complex.
For each casting, we start from a relative wax model obtained with rapid prototyping or with vacuum injection of the wax in rubber molds.
Here below the image of the melting tree with all the wax parts carefully assembled in clusters:
The great precision of the casting guarantees a perfect result for most uses.
You can make very small pieces, even under a millimeter.
The materials that can be used are brass, bronze, nickel silver and aluminum.
The lost wax casting is particularly suitable for the realization of the master in brass for the modeling sector mass production of parts for the most disparate sectors such as railway, naval, aeronautical modeling or industrial design.
The maximum dimensions of the casting cylinder containing the waxes are:
diameter 100mm
height 160mm
We can supply the cast metal parts crude and simply cleaned from melting and sanded residues.

In case it is requested we can bring the surfaces to polish.
