La Ferrari 312 B3 in versione 1974 ha debuttato al Gran Premio del Sud Africa ed era guidata da Clay Regazzoni ed il giovane Niki Lauda. Si rivela subito una monoposto altamente competitiva ottenendo per la prima volta importanti risultati dopo vari anni. La stagione si concluse con il Mondiale Piloti sfiorato da Regazzoni per pochi punti: era solo il preludio di una vincente stagione successiva. Disegnata dall'ingenier Mauro Forghieri, la Ferrari 312 B3 ha rappresentato la base per la Ferrari 312 T che l'anno successivo ha conquistato il Campionato del Mondo piloti con Niki Lauda. La ferrari 312 B3, monoposto bellissima dalle linee pulite ed eleganti, era equipaggiata dal motore 12 cilindri boxer che garantiva alta potenza ed affidabilità essendo ormai usato e collaudato sin dal 1970. Il nostro kit riproduce la versione del Gran Premio di Olanda, vinta da Niki Lauda con Clay Regazzoni che ha concluso la gara subito alle sue spalle conquistando una storica doppietta. La Ferrari 312 B3 in versione 1974 vinse anche il Gran Premio di Germania con Clay Regazzoni ed il Gran Premio di Spagna con Niki Lauda. Sfortunatamente questi risultati non sono bastati per conquistare entrambi i titoli, piloti e costruttori a causa delle varie occasioni perse per vincere, causate forse dalla eccessiva rivalità fra i due piloti. Infatti il titolo mondiale piloti è stati vinto dal brasiliano Emerson Fittipaldi al volante della McLaren M23. La Ferrari 312 B3 corse anche i primi due Gran Premi del 1975 per poi essere definitivamente sostituita dalla vincente Ferrari 312 T.

The 1974 version of the Ferrari 312 B3 made its debut at the South African Grand Prix, driven by Clay Regazzoni and the young Niki Lauda. It immediately proved to be a highly competitive car, achieving significant results for the first time in several years. The season ended with Regazzoni narrowly missing out on the Drivers’ World Championship by a few points: it was merely the prelude to a successful following season. Designed by engineer Mauro Forghieri, the Ferrari 312 B3 formed the basis for the Ferrari 312 T, which the following year won the Drivers’ World Championship with Niki Lauda. The Ferrari 312 B3, a beautiful single-seater with clean, elegant shape, was powered by a 12-cylinder boxer engine that guaranteed high power and reliability, having been in use and proven since 1970. Our kit reproduces the Dutch Grand Prix version, won by Niki Lauda with Clay Regazzoni finishing the race right behind him, securing a historic one-two finish. The 1974 version of the Ferrari 312 B3 also won the German Grand Prix with Clay Regazzoni and the Spanish Grand Prix with Niki Lauda. Unfortunately, these results were not enough to secure both the drivers’ and constructors’ titles, due to various missed opportunities to win, perhaps caused by the excessive rivalry between the two drivers. In fact, the drivers’ world championship was won by the Brazilian Emerson Fittipaldi at the wheel of the McLaren M23. The Ferrari 312 B3 also competed in the first two Grands Prix of 1975 before being permanently replaced by the successful Ferrari 312 T. ... Vedi altroVedi meno
